Pan African Food features an in-house butcher shop, imported spices and produce, as well as other assorted gourmet grocery items from around the world. The new store is located in a block with other retailers including Domino's Pizza, Little Country Hair Stylists and Moogy's Sandwich Shop.
Patricia Simboli, a principal of ACS Development, notes that the space has been historically occupied by a food market for over 30 years making it "ideal" for a grocery store. She points out that the on-site parking makes it a convenient location serving the needs of a "very densely populated community as well as those who travel for the highly specialized products which it offers." The store has a client base that includes the Greater Boston area as well as Eastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine.
