The move-in allows for the expansion of Cendant's mortgage operations at Bishop's Gate Corporate Center. Utilized as a call center by the lending and mortgage banking firm, the facility will house up to 1,200 employees when it is fully staffed.

Liberty Property Trust has done several projects for Cendant over the last decade or so, including three in this South Jersey community. The development of this latest facility was initiated in December of 2001, and the building was essentially completed and ready for occupancy at the end of last month.

Built on a 21-acre site, Building IV is located adjacent to two existing properties completed for Cendant Mortgage by Liberty. The company's total space in the three facilities totals more than 650,000 sf, and the newest building includes such amenities as fitness and game rooms and a full-service café.

A subsidiary of Cendant Corp., Cendant Mortgage serves real estate brokers, affinity groups, credit unions, financial institutions, corporations and government agencies. In the last year, the company provided more than $22 billion in mortgage financing, mostly for residential properties.

Liberty Property Trust, based in Malvern, PA, has a portfolio of 51 million sf of office and industrial properties in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest regions. Of that total, the company owns and manages over five million sf of space in South Jersey and maintains a regional office in Marlton.
