DPR built the original 215,000-sf building at 1200 Park Ave. and will now prepare the Emeryville campus for the development of the second 125,000-sf building. This project is scheduled to break ground next spring.
According to Pixar, the studio plans to seek entitlements from the city this spring to begin building the project. If the plans are approved, DPR will be busy with the project for at least two years.
DPR is also handling the construction for two major Walnut Creek projects. The first is a 500,000-sf mixed-use residential and commercial project on California Boulevard and the second is a remodel for Kaiser Permanente.
