"The new facility provides more space to build, stack and save materials in a climate-controlled area," according to Andersen. "This enables our company to operate more efficiently."
In the new facility, the company's office space will expand from the current 4,500 sf to 6,800 sf, and Corporate Woodworking's millshop space will be enlarged from 12,000 sf to 20,000 sf. The facility will also provide 3,200 sf for the warehousing of building materials.
Andersen Interior Contracting, which specializes in the build-out of office space, has sold its previous building to Sabel Realty Corp. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
