The buyer of record, Elevation 112 LLC, took the deed for 12734 Tanner Rd. from JM Tanner LLC of Houston. The seller's broker, Doug Nicholson in the Houston office of Grubb & Ellis Co., tells GlobeSt.com that the building comes with a long-term tenant.
The Harris County Appraisal District pegs the property's 2002 assessment at $1.3 million. The 5.7-acre holding contains a metal, crane-served building, which was on the market for a few months before the seller took the offer from the Colorado group. Independent broker Joe Linsalata of Austin represented the buyer, one of several who put in a bid for the property.
The building is located in an industrial area near Clay Road and the Sam Houston Parkway. It was acquired in 1999. The Baker Hughes Corp. Web site lists the property's tenant as Bird Machine Co., one of its subsidiaries.
