Dixie Carpet, signing a medium-term lease, will open doors in early spring, says Nathan Denton of Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas. He tells GlobeSt.com that the flooring contractor came to town because his clients, multifamily building owners, requested a location closer to their North Texas holdings.
Denton, the tenant's representative, had narrowed the list to two. The Addison location and the rate won the nod. "We got a pretty fair market deal," he said, keeping the per sf confidential in accordance with the contract. Building owner Ted Gruen negotiated his side of the pact.
In Dallas, Falcon Garments, a manufacturer for national brands, re-upped on 10,311 sf in Venture Tech Center at 14840 Venture Dr. Brett French of Irving-based Property Advisers Realty Inc. single-handedly brokered the contract. Madison Realty Investors is the building owner.
