JPI developed both phases built both phases at Lowry. In 2001, PREI agreed to buy the phases from JPI when they were completed.
"AMLI Park at Lowry sets a new standard for apartments in Denver," Doug Andrews, who handled the sale with partner Jeff Hawks, tells GlobeSt.com. Andrews and Hawks are principals of Apartment Realty Advisors.Phase II of AMLI Park at Lowry has 72 one-bedroom units, 110 two-bedroom units, and 22 three-bedroom units, including 48 townhouse unit.
The apartment units feature nine-foot ceilings crowned molding, tile entries, oversized oval garden tubs, vaulted ceilings, built-in computer desks and shelves, gourmet island kitchens and many other custom features.
The properties amenities are also rather extensive, including two resort-style swimming pools, a putting green, a media room with digital surround sound and stadium seating, an entertainment lounge with billiards and shuffleboard, an executive business center and a two-story, state of the art-fitness center. Most of the units have direct access attached garages and the community is gated for controlled access.
"If there ever was a community that ultimately could be converted into condominiums, this is it," Hawks tells GlobeSt.com.
Andrews and Hawks have sold more than $2 billion in Colorado apartments during the past five years, including $228.325 million in sales in 2002.
