Scott J. Jamieson, Leslie H. Lanne, Michael G. Smith, and Tamie R. Thompson of Spaulding & Slye Colliers represented the seller and introduced the buyer in the transaction.
The two, two-story buildings are situated on four acres on Route 95 near the Route 3 corridor. Among its tenants are eMed Tech and NewsEdge. Steven Duffy, a principal of Duffy Properties says that the location of the buildings is what convinced the company that they would fit into Duffy Properties' "long-term acquisition" strategy.
Jamieson explains, "Archon worked hard to successfully lease and stabilize the asset with an eye towards disposition. Duffy Properties is well suited to own the project for the longer term, with a potential for redevelopment in the future along with a neighboring property that they control."
The Archon Group is a joint venture between Goldman Sachs and the Whitehall Fund.
