Landfall Developments will operate as a division of Paradigm Properties and has been renamed Urban Facilities Group. Landfall founder and president Robert H. Baldwin, Jr., who, prior to founding Landfall in 1999, served as deputy director of Boston Redevelopment Authority, has joined Paradigm Properties as senior vice president. In his new role, Baldwin will oversee all activities of the new division. He notes that, "the depth and breadth of the Paradigm organization will enable the Group to serve a wider range of clients than was possible with Landfall."
The group will provide a number of real estate services, among them: site search and feasibility analysis, pre-development management, permitting, financing, move coordination, disposition of real estate, management and negotiation of sale or lease of property, and construction management with a focus on dealing with urban non-profit institutions, industrial businesses and government.
Kevin McCall, president and CEO of Paradigm Properties says that Landfall's services complement Paradigm Properties' core business and support its "corporate value of doing well by the community… We will now be able to provide creative and comprehensive real estate solutions for the challenging and unique real estate needs of nonprofit institutions, industrial businesses, and state and local governments in Greater Boston and the surrounding urban core."
