The Central Florida chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association cited Chamberlain for her "high level of professionalism when dealing with tenants and/or employees of the buildings managed," and for her commitment to BOMA over the past 20 years.

BOMA officers also presented annual TOBY and BOCA awards at its banquet event at Embassy Suites Hotel Downtown to owners of six office buildings selected as the best-managed properties in metro Orlando.

Additionally, Sonnee McEachern of Crescent Resources LLC was named Assistant Property Manager of the Year. Clyde Shockley of Trammell Crow Co. is Building Engineer of the Year. Top Associate Members of the Year are Michael Lewis of Foliage Design Systems and Jillian McCluskey of Workscapes.

Chamberlain's citation allows her to compete with other top property managers at the 10-state regional level April 26 in Tampa, FL. She is no stranger to either BOMA or the industry, having served as the group's president in 1986-87 and also as president of BOMA's Southern Region in 1990 and 1992.

Chamberlain was the first female president of the Southern Region, "quite an accomplishment at that time," she tells GlobeSt.com.

At ProLogis, Chamberlain oversees 2.2 million sf of industrial properties in 24 metro Orlando locations. Prior to her ProLogis position, she worked for Paragon Group, Pizzuti Management Co and Glenborough Realty Trust.

In the top building category, SunTrust Center, managed by Equity Office Properties LLC, was best in the 500,000 sf to one million-sf category. Maitland Colonnades, managed by Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc., won in the 250,000 sf to 499,999-sf level. Eola Park Centre in Downtown Orlando won honors in the 100,000 sf to 249,999-sf category; and SunTrust Plaza in Winter Park, FL, managed by Rollins College Property Management, was best in the under 100,000-sf grouping.

Additionally, Quorum Center, managed by USAA Realty Co., led the field in the suburban office park low-rise group. Southgate, managed by Pineloch Management Corp., was best in the industrial office park category. A-1 Orange Cleaning Service was named the best Associate Vendor of the Year.
