Bruce Schuman of Studley's Los Angeles office tells GlobeSt.com that the new West LA branch is at 11835 W. Olympic Blvd.. It is an expansion of AXA's existing Los Angeles office, which is at 3435 Wilshire Blvd. in the Mid-Wilshire district. Schuman was part of a Studley leasing team including Royce Sharf of the Irvine office and Janice Cimbalo at the firm's Los Angeles office who represented AXA, with all building owners representing themselves.

The four leases, all five-year terms, total nearly 40,000 sf with a combined consideration of about $4.5 million. AXA Advisors is a unit of France's AXA Group, an international financial management services firm that is the parent company of the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States.

AXA has signed for the following: 18,000 sf at Jamison Properties' Equitable Plaza building at 3435 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles; 4,800 sf at the new West Los Angeles office at Douglas Emmett Co.'s 11835 W. Olympic Blvd. building; 11,000 sf at Arden Realty Co.'s 701 B St. building in San Diego; and 6,000 sf at the Irvine Co.'s 660 Newport Center Dr. building in Newport Beach.
