Rob Socci of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Anaheim office tells GlobeSt.com that First American bought the land in a 1031 Exchange with the proceeds from the sales of two industrial buildings in Brea and Anaheim late last year. Socci, who brokered the two sales of the industrial buildings, teamed with Jack Askelson of Voit's Anaheim office to represent the buyer and the seller in the recent land purchase.

Socci says the buyer has not yet decided what it will do with the land, which was excess property next to Neville's manufacturing facility along Winston Road between State College Boulevard and Sunkist Street. The Anaheim facility is one of two manufacturing plants operated by Neville, a manufacturer of synthetic resins that is based on Neville Island in the Ohio River near Pittsburgh.
