The Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority already have approved two of three ventures on the drawing boards of Stockbridge, GA developer Doug Adams and his DRA Development Co. A third project is being reviewed this week by the agencies.

Already approved are Northbridge Crossing, a planned 171-acre venture in Stockbridge, GA that would have a total 900 townhomes and condominiums and 27 acres of commercial development.

The 400-acre Locust Grove Station in Locust Grove, GA would have 1,700 residential units, 40 acres of commercial and 15 acres for public recreational use. Locust Grove elected officials rejected a 1,000-home plan in December. They are scheduled to review the same project April 7.

Plans for McDonough Village Green in the county seat of McDonough, GA call for 210,900 sf of commercial, 1,200 multifamily units and townhomes and 780 single-family residences on 322 acres. The community would also have an 80-room assisted living facility, 16 acres for public recreation and a fire/police station.

Working with Doug Adams are his brother, Larry; Jeff Carreker; and Eddie Walker.
