Jeff Mitchell and Trent Walker of Voit say the new owner plans to renovate the vacant 13-year-old building with interior and exterior improvements and new landscaping...and then list it on the market for lease. Mitchell and Walker represented the buyer, while Rick Hertel of Corporate Real Estate represented the seller.
Mitchell and Walker also are the leasing agents for the building, which has ground- and dock-level loading. Walker tells GlobeSt.com that the concrete tilt-up building also includes 17,000 sf of mezzanine office space. The 170 Technology Dr. address is in a predominantly industrial part of Irvine Spectrum, the 5,000-acre Irvine Co. development that includes more than 25 million sf of industrial, office and other commercial space occupied by more than 2,500 businesses.
