The Vicar Lane scheme was developed by Centros Miller and Delancey in 2000. It provides 38 units anchored by Bhs. Other tenants include Woolworths; Ottakar's; Internacionale; Bay Trading; New Look; Superdrug and MVC and there are 390 parking spaces. Current rental income is around £3 million ($4.8 million) per annum.
In 2001 Delancey sold the centre, as part of a portfolio of four malls, to a joint venture between Dunedin and Royal Bank of Scotland, at which time it was valued at just over £38 million ($60 million).
