Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but asking rate is about $1.85 per sf per month gross at the new development. The building owner, Pacific West Corporate Center LLC of Thousand Oaks, was represented by Michael Slater, Tom Dwyer, Chuck Engel and Florentina Dobrin, all in the Ventura office of CB Richard Ellis. Pacific West is a development of Thousand Oaks-based Silagi Development. The County of Ventura was represented by Steve Doll of NAI Capital Commercial in Oxnard.

The new office space is a consolidation of a health services offices for the county, which is expected to move into the newly built, steel frame and stucco office property within the next few months. The lease is the second this month involving the County of Ventura, which inked a seven-year, $3.5-million deal early in March to consolidate a number of departments of the county's behavioral health division, leasing an entire 21,000-sf officebuilding at 72 Moody Court in Thousand Oaks.
