Scheduled to be completed this summer, Weitz will occupy about 15,000 sf of the 5555 E. Van Buren building with the remaining space going to tenants that will include the architectural firm, the Butler Design Group and Fountainhead United LLC.

"With over 100 employees, we have outgrown our current space in the Gateway Center," said Larry Mohr, the firm's Southwest Division president. "The new office will provide a sufficient amount of space, great environment for our employees and room for the Southwest Division to continue growing."

Designed by Butler Design Group, the $3.2-million, contemporary-style structure will feature a mix of concrete panels, steel and masonry accent and a battered glass wall tower. The interior finishes will include exposed ceilings and concrete floors. The building will be developed and owned by Fountainhead United LLC.
