The restaurant's new location will comprise 4,203 sf of retail space at 26612 Towne Centre Dr., according to Shannon Murphy of the Duke group, who represented the building owner, Foothill-Pacific Towne Center IV. Duke tells GlobeSt.com that Peppino's expects to move into its new space this summer following tenant improvements for the Irvine-based chain of family-style Italian restaurants. Total consideration for the lease is nearly $925,000.
Duke notes that Peppino's is opening in what's known as the entertainment portion of the center, its fourth phase, which was built in 1996. Towne Centre comprises a total of 1.2 million sf that is about 95% leased. The new restaurant will fill the last remaining space in the Foothill Festival Foodcourt, which is adjacent to a Regal Theaters multiplex. David Obbage of Westrust America Inc. in Calabasas represented Peppino's.
