InSight, which is a provider of high-technology diagnostic imaging and therapy services, occupies a portion of a two-story, concrete tilt-up building that is owned by the Bixby Land Co. of Long Beach. InSight uses the facility for its corporate headquarters and general administrative offices.

Scott A. Lanni, manager of development and acquisitions for Gale and in-house leasing representative for Pacific Commercentre Business Park, tells GlobeSt.com that InSight added about three months to an existing five-year lease that the company negotiated last year when it relocated from Newport Beach to Lake Forest. He explains that the health-care company is consolidating operations into Lake Forest from several other locations inSouthern California, including facilities in nearby Santa Margarita.

InSight, which formerly occupied space only on the first floor of the building, will now occupy about two-thirds of the second floor. About 12,000 sf of empty space remains in the 76,870-sf building. Terms of the lease were not disclosed, but the space was being marketed at an asking rate of $1.10 per sf per month, triple-net. InSight was represented by Ken Ward in the Newport Beach office for Dallas-based Staubach Co., with Orange County-based brokers Scott Garmon of Scott Garmon Co. and Bob Griffith of Cushman & Wakefield representing the building owner, Bixby Land Co.

Pacific Commercentre is a 48-acre project at Bake Parkway and Dimension Drive that consists of more than 608,000 sf in nine buildings that the Florham Park, NJ-based Gale Co. developed in the late 1990s, plus three undeveloped lots. InSight develops, operates and manages freestanding imaging centers, hospital-based radiology services and mobile magnetic resonance imaging.
