Sidney Service Corp., a Houston-based logistics provider, executed the largest lease, recommitting to a 155,796-sf building at 4700 Eastpark Dr. on Houston's East Side. The logistics firm used the address for at least 10 years, Caleb Lawson of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group in Houston tells GlobeSt.com. This time, it signed for the mid-term, says Lawson, the tenant's representative. Owner Houston-based Transwestern Commercial Services used in-house broker, Darryl Noon, to bargain its terms.
In the northwest submarket, Mustang Hydraulic Services Ltd. held tight to 13,647 sf in carry-over space from a recent buyout of Houston competitor, TAD. A medium-term lease was penned for 10060 West Gulf Bank Rd., a 92%-occupied, 45,000-sf building.
Lawson represented the building owner, Brookhollow/Northwest Partners LP. Steve Mahood of Moody Rambin Interests Inc. in Houston handled talks for the tenant.
ATT Headwear Inc. re-upped 10,274 sf at 4525 S. Pinemont, also in the northwest submarket. The tenant manufactures promotional products, such as personalized headgear and coffee mugs.
A tenant for eight years, the promotional products maker opted for the short term this time around. Lawson represented the tenant while Jeremy Giles in the Houston office of Denver-based ProLogis did its talking.
