Borders will open the doors of its 23,000-sf space to customers this August. It will be the 23rd Borders in the Metropolitan Washington, DC region. The terms of Borders lease with The Cordish Cos. have not been disclosed.
"The Boulevard is a retail and entertainment complex that covers 55 acres in eastern Washington, DC," says Ray Dinterman, a Borders regional director. The bookstore's neighbors will include such retailers as Linens 'n Things, Men's Warehouse, and Pier 1 Imports.
