Amy A. Brown, with a degree in interior design, has more than four years' experience in the Arizona commercial building industry. She previously was business development manager for Fort Worth-based Carter & Burgess' Phoenix office.
With her background and experience in construction, architecture and engineering, Brown has developed many well-established relationships. In addition to developing new business for Summit Builders, Brown also will work closely with the firm's senior vice president of marketing, Kristin Hower.
It's the second hire this month for the Phoenix-headquartered builder. Greg McCormick was named a senior project manager for the health-care division. He joined the team from Hospital Building and Equipment Corp., where he was a vice president of subcontracting and purchasing.
