Canton, MA-based Tweeter is consolidating two non-contiguous spaces in the West by Northwest park into the bulk of a 115,000-sf, multi-tenant distribution center owned by Denver-based ProLogis. Tweeter is a publicly traded, national high-end stereo, video and home-theater equipment retailer.
Seth Dudley, executive vice president and director for Julien J. Studley Inc.'s West Los Angeles office negotiated the deal for Tweeter. "The West by Northwest Industrial Center in northwest Houston provides an ideal centralized location for Tweeter's southwest regional distribution needs," Dudley said in a prepared statement. He added that ProLogis "was motivated to retain creditworthy tenants, which allowed us to negotiate a lease that met Tweeter's physical and technical requirements and provided expansion rights." The lease takes effect July 1.
