Earlier this week, SPI Distribution took the keys to 7,852 sf at Martin Van Buren Commerce Park in a move that gives building owner, Denver-based ProLogis an 80% occupancy for the six-building industrial park. "This is good, positive absorption for us," Bo Mills, with the Trammell Crow Co.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com.
Mills said the property at 401 N. 37th Dr. appealed to the tenant because of its close freeway access and good loading facilities. "It had an image and a price that they wanted," he said. The 236,000 sf multi-tenant industrial park is home to several large tenants, including Ryder Logistics, Atlas Headware and the Manning Group.
Mills and Mark Detmer, also with Trammell Crow, represented the building owner at the bargaining table. The tenant was represented by Todd Hamilton and Jeff Martindale, both with Cutler Commercial in Phoenix.
