The building was picked up by Houston-based Sweetwater Dental Group LP and World Real Estate Inc. R. Donald Janssen Jr. with Sugarland Properties tells GlobeSt.com that the new owners plan to use a little more than half of the building for their dental practice. Part of the balance is leased to a periodontist and chiropractor and the rest, about 2,100 sf, is on the market.
The building, completed in October 2002, is one of five small medical office buildings coming out of the ground in the 11-acre park, says Janssen. The other four buildings are in various stages of construction. The park connects to 40 acres of mixed-use medical properties, including Methodist Hospital.
Janssen, who represented Sugarland Properties, isn't talking about selling or asking prices. Nelson Udstuen of Axis Property Advisors of Houston represented the buyers.
