Located in the heart of downtown Detroit on Woodward Avenue, adjacent to the new Compuware headquarters, this unique urban green space is positioned to become a significant catalyst for revitalization in the downtown area, said Barton Malow officials.
"The Conservancy has worked closely with the City of Detroit and other major stakeholders to develop the vision and design of the park," states Bob Gregory, Project Director for Campus Martius Park.
The park is designed for year-round activity. It will host premier events and performances, including live concerts, and will be transformed in the wintertime to an outdoor ice-skating rink the size of Rockefeller Center's.
Some of the Park's features include a central fountain, multiple performance stages and a year-round café.
