Westminster Management, a Kushner affiliate, manages the property and is coordinating the renovation, which is in addition to ongoing interior improvements. It includes a new color scheme for the property, new signage, fencing and landscaping; painting of exteriors, including balconies and doors; new exterior lighting, and repair of sidewalks and steps.
The Brook is located on 38 acres on Williamsburg Dr., northeast of Harrisburg. It contains one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and is nearly fully occupied, according to a Kushner spokesperson. One-bedroom units rent for an average of $570 per month, and the average rental rate for two-bedroom units is $660 a month.
The complex includes a clubhouse, fitness center that was added in 1999, business communications area, and Olympic-size swimming pool. There is an on-site social director. The majority of tenants are seniors and empty-nesters.
