The day spa, which is based in the South Bay, is slated for a fall opening at the center, according to Nadia Gilmore of Coreland's Sherman Oaks office. Gilmore and Art Ross of AJ Ross Commercial Real Estate represented the building owner, Golden West Properties of Los Angeles.
Golden West recently completed a remodeling of the 250,000-sf shopping center, which is situated at the southwest corner of Baldwin Avenue and Duarte Road, two of the main thoroughfares in Arcadia. The center is anchored by Pavilions, Burlington Coat Factory, Ross Dress For Less and JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts. Coreland Cos. is the leasing agent for the center in cooperation with Santa Paula-based AJ Ross. With the signing of the Ann Karen Day Spa lease, the center is approximately 98% leased.
