Louis Tomaselli, Mitch Zehner and Rob Socci of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Anaheim Metro office represented Birtcher in the transactions, which totaled nearly $5 million. The buyers were Orange County-based Dolan Construction Co. which acquired a 29,058-sf facility at 17891 Cartwright Rd. and KC Communications, which bought a 24,701-sf property located at 17881 Cartwright Rd.
Tomaselli says both buyers plan to completely renovate and build out the properties, which were constructed in the 1980s. Seller Birtcher Real Estate Group is part of the Birtcher family of companies, which has been active in Southern California real estate since 1939 as a developer and investor in a broad range of property types. Tomaselli says Birtcher acquired the R&D buildings about two years ago. John Collins of Professional Real Estate Services' Irvine office represented the buyers in both transactions.
