The properties include the 505,000-sf national corporate headquarters for Nestle USA at 800 Brand Ave. in Glendale; the 300,000-sf MTV building at 2700 Colorado Ave. in Santa Monica; and the 240,000-sf Hamilton Place office project at 20101 Hamilton Place in Torrance.
The Nestle building was recently purchased by Wells Real Estate Funds and is a 21-story, class-A office tower while the MTV building is a class-A office property is owned by Prudential Real Estate Investors. PM Realty Group won both property and construction management at the MTV building, where tenants include Viacom (MTV), Artisan Entertainment, EMI, Fremantle Media, Getty Trust and Microsoft.
The Hamilton Place office development is owned by Chicago-based TIAA-CREF. Terry W. Thompson, vice president of Southern California for PM Realty Group, says the firm also was awarded the assignment to sell the Hamilton Place property in addition to the management and leasing contract. He says PM will team with Kevin Shannon of Grubb & Ellis in Los Angeles to sell the property on behalf of TIAA-CREF. Major building tenants at the Hamilton Place development include Toyota and Laidlaw Medical.
With the addition of these assignments, the Houston-based PM Realty Group now manages and leases more than seven million sf of commercial space in Southern California, including office properties, medical buildings, industrial facilities and retail space. The company, which was founded in 1954, offers real estate services including property management, leasing, construction management, corporate services, facility management, asset management, development services and investment services.
