Ray's Apparel has already moved into the 20 Goodyear building in a consolidation and expansion of operations from three Costa Mesa locations, where the company has been occupying about 120,000 sf of leased space. The facility will serve as the new headquarters for the garment company.
Jon Marchiorlatti of CB Richard Ellis in Newport Beach represented the seller, along with Chris Bates and David Bolt, also from CBRE's Newport Beach office. Ray's Apparel was represented by Dave Kluver and Garrett Sholer, a Newport Beach team for Grubb & Ellis Co.
Goodray Corp. had owned the 7.8-acre property since 1997. Built in 1982, the 20 Goodyear building is a single-story, concrete tilt-up design, with 20,242 sf of office space.
