At Merrill, Harmon was responsible for managing origination, structuring and execution of secured commercial real estate transactions as well as management and new business development for real estate-related debt capital products for European corporations, property companies and other clients. Prior to joining Merrill in 1998, he was a senior vice president for Greenwich Capital Markets, Inc., and prior to that, senior director at NatWest Markets in New York City.
KeyBank Real Estate Capital is adding the personnel as part of its plan to expand further its bank syndication capabilities under Tom Bunn, who came to Key in March 2002 and heads Key Corporate and Investment Banking.
