Romelco Inc., the executive suites operator, was represented by Brad Marnitz of the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial. A contact at NAI Partners Commercial tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant has been in the building at 18333 Egret Bay for more than 15 years, signing another long-term renewal in the latest go-round of talks. The contact confirms the tenant looked around, but the economics offered by the building owner were too good to pass up.

The 106,746-sf building is owned by WKB Value Partners LP, which was represented by Mike Adams of Houston's PM Realty Group. The quoted rent for the 19-year-old property starts at $14.50 per sf.

In another transaction, Identigene Inc., a DNA identification firm leased 7,314 sf at IBC Plaza at 5615 Kirby in the southwest submarket. Greg Cizik and Coy Davidson, a Colliers International team in Houston, represented the tenant. Barbara Richey of Senterra Real Estate Group LLC brokered the pact for the building owner, Century Development Corp. of Houston.
