The law firm of Preston & Cowan took the CBD space at 2 Houston Center, a one-million-sf-plus office property at 909 Fannin St. The firm is relocating from 1001 Fannin St.
Building owner Crescent Real Estate Equities Co. of Fort Worth had in-house broker Debbie Wilson negotiate the terms with the law firm's representatives, Steve Hesse and Jason Presley, both with Trione & Gordon Oncor International in Houston.
In the northwest submarket, Keller Williams Realty-North Houston renewed a 3,685-sf lease and added another 2,762 sf at a four-story office building at 8300 FM 1960. A contact tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant, an affiliate of Austin-based national residential real estate brokerage firm, Keller Williams Realty Inc., has been in the building since April 2002. The realtor inked a long-term deal for the 68,210-sf office building to take occupancy to 99%. Building owner Koll Bren Schreiber Realty Advisors was represented by Wanda Wilson and Marci Phillips, a team with Houston-based PM Realty Group.
