The firm signed a medium-term lease at 7111 Perimeter Park Dr., Caleb Lawson of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group in Houston tells GlobeSt.com. The two-building Perimeter Park is owned by Denver-based ProLogis Trust, which used in-house broker Jeremy Giles to structure its side of the deal.

Lawson says Dealer Direct, headquartered in Baton Rouge, chose the building for the location and space availability. Additionally, the economic package put on the table was particularly appealing, he says, declining to talk specifics.

According to Lawson, the auto parts distributor is in a growth mode, quadrupling its space in the relocation to the larger of the two buildings in the ProLogis development. The new address is about 15 miles from its old one.
