Tenants BRW Paper Co. and Partners Converting go hand-in-hand when comes to locations so both exited 14035 Distribution Way in Farmers Branch and set up shop simultaneously in Hillwood's 1435 Bradley Lane, GlobeSt.com is told. BRW Paper took over 74,851 sf, an increase of almost 35,000 sf with the relocation, while its teammate, Partners Converting leased 18,600 sf, an expansion of 8,600 sf.
The building's 61,464-sf balance is occupied by Southwest Sanitary Distributing Co., a lease that the locally based Hillwood was holding as it scoured the marketplace for the right location at the right price. Tal Hicks, Hillwood Investment Properties president, credits Chris Jackson at the Robert Lynn Co. in Dallas with filling the building within two months of its purchase.
BRW Paper's distribution center, which adds 45 jobs to the address, will service customers in a four-state region. The Bradley Lane building not only delivered more space, but it provided the operation with more dock doors and a larger truck court "that will allow us to continue to grow our business," Steve Stone, BRW's general manager, said in a press release of the 11-year-old Texas subsidiary of New York-headquartered Gould Paper Co., the largest independent US distributor of printing and fine papers.
