A contact tells GlobeSt.com that the home decor shop retailer signed a long-term lease for the center situated between Greenwood Forest and Champion Forest drives. The locally based retailer moved from nearby 5419 FM 1960 West.
Greenwood Square Shopping Center is 92% leased, says the contact. It has an asking rate of $12 per sf for the first three years of a five-year lease and $13 per sf for the last two years.
Wanda Wilson and Marci Phillips, both with Houston-based PM Realty Group, represented the Newport Beach, CA-based building owner, Koll Bren Schreiber Realty Advisors, in the negotiations. The tenant did not use a broker to package its terms.
In the far southeast submarket, the floral shop, Dream Bouquet, leased 1,888 sf at Southpoint Shopping Center at 12817 Gulf Freeway from Southpoint Realty Partners Ltd. Shawn Ackerman and Mason White, a Henry S. Miller Commercial team in Houston, represented the building owner.
