Southern Worldwide Logistics, represented by Ron Roberson of Houston's Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group, will set up shop in two weeks at 6949 W. Wingfoot Rd. He won't go into details, but did say it is a medium-term lease for about half of a warehouse owned by Equity Industrial LP. Jeff Everist in the Houston office for CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented the building owner in the lease negotiations.
Also in the northwest submarket, DC Steel & Service Inc. took 10,000 sf at 10612 Hempstead Highway. Bill Ginder of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group in Houston represented the tenant. Georgia Wren of Houston's Glauser Properties brokered the deal for the building owner, Glauser/Homes, a Texas general partnership.
