The property is a 193,000-sf facility on eight acres near the intersectionof Torresdale and Erie Avenues, north of Center City. The owner is locallybased Wheatsheaf Associates.
Patrick Green of the local office of New York-based Insignia/ESG representedboth the owner and Crown Boiler in the transaction. According to Green, anadditional 90,000 sf of the building is under consideration by anothercompany, leaving approximately 32,000 sf available for lease.
This February, Crown Boiler was purchased by Lancaster, PA-based BurnhamHoldings, a maker of boilers, furnaces, air conditioning systems and relatedproducts for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
