Todd Doney of Insignia's Downtown Los Angeles office says ModernHealth moved from 2832 E. Foothill Blvd. in Pasadena to the new space in a seven-year, $3.7-million lease with building owner Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, which maintains its US headquarters in Atlanta and California offices in San Francisco and Irvine. Doney and Nico Vilgiate, also of Insignia's Downtown Los Angeles office, represented the building owner, with ModernHealth represented by John Minervini and Erik Larson of Cushman & Wakefield's Downtown LA office.
Vilgiate says the new space will not only provide a more modern headquarters space than the company's previous location, which was about 20,000 sf, but will provide a sign on the building and heightened identity for ModernHealth. The company operates drug stores in the Los Angeles area and provides an array of related services. Among these services are home nursing and a range of specialized pharmacy services for patients with chronic health conditions including HIV/AIDS, respiratory conditions and diabetes.
