West Wood Products purchased the larger of the two buildings, a91,000-sf structure at 2943 E. Las Hermanas St. for $3.5 million,according to Frank Hillebrand of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s South Bayoffice in Torrance. Hillebrand and John Lasiter, also of Grubb& Ellis' South Bay office, represented the buyer and theseller, New York-based Sequa Corp. The freestanding brick buildingwill house the firm's headquarters, sales offices and distributionoperation. The company has relocated to the new building from a15,000-sffacility in Paramount.

In the second deal, transportation firm Total Intermodalpurchased a 37,276-sf industrial building at 19118 S. Reyes Ave.for $2.1 million from private investors based in Rancho Dominguez.Total Intermodal is slated to occupy the building in September. Thecompany is relocating from Carson. Hillebrand and Lasiterrepresented the seller, with Jack Karp of National Properties Groupin Gardena representing the buyer.
