MC Distributors signed a medium-term lease in an expansion play that adds close to 28,400 sf more industrial space for the staff, Bill Ginder in Houston's Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group tells GlobeSt.com. Finish-out is underway for the tenant, who is plotting a move from a nearby industrial building.
The new address is owned by Dienna Nelson Augustine Co. of Houston, which had in-house broker Jim Nelson structuring its terms. The multi-tenant building is roughly 150,000 sf.
On the South Side, Tropical Silk Flowers Co., a wholesale distributor, leased 8,024 sf at the Beltway Service Center, an office/warehouse building at 5803 Sovereign St. The 40,726-sf building is owned by Vantage Houston as agent for Halawa View Apartments, a Hawaii general partnership. The deal was brokered solely by Walter Menuet of Vantage Houston Inc.
