Stacy is moving his Houston operations from a leased space at nearby Hempstead Highway. The building's original price tag was $1.2 million, but sold for a figure somewhere south of the asking price, Barrett Gibson, of the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial, tells GlobeSt.com. Gibson was joined by John Ferruzzo, also of NAI Partner's Houston office in representing the buyer.

Gibson says his client liked the building, which is situated on about an acre, because of its exposure to the popular northwest artery, FM 1960. Gibson says that the new owner is in the process of moving in. The building was sold by Houston-based Carmichael Development Co. David Werlin of Houston's New Regional Planning represented the seller. Gibson says the building, which was empty at the time of sale, was up for lease for sometime. Once the decision was made to sell the building, it took between four and five months to close with Stacey, says Gibson.
