The various components of the project include a two-story addition housing seven new operating rooms and a 40,000-sf emergency department that officials say could handle upwards of 60,000 patients annually. The new wing is expected to be ready by late next year.
Also slated are a significantly-expanded parking capacity, including a five-story parking garage that will be ready in about a year. Work is also underway on a two-level expansion to an existing parking facility, which is expected to be finished by early fall of this year.
