The wholesale distribution of acoustical materials will move to a rail-equipped building at 2345 S. 16th Ave. this month and vacate 15,000 sf location at 20th Avenue and Buckeye Road, Eric Iantorno of Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com. "It's a nice expansion for them," said Iantorno, noting that the move will allow the firm to triple in size.
Formed in 1969, the Phoenix company distributes acoustical ceiling materials, drywall, steel, doors, frames, hardware and plaster products from locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, Hawaii and Mexico. The firm's new full-service facility, which had been vacant for a year following the departure of Rugby Building Products, rents for 38 cents per sf.
Iantorno, along with Lance Ross and Nathan Thinnes, also with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, represented AMS in the lease negotiations. The building owner, Bob Hurley of Phoenix, was represented by Doug Hall of Doug Hall & Associates of Phoenix.
