In their new roles, Sullivan and Yasukochi will co-manage the Grubb & Ellis research and marketing functions for the California offices. Sullivan is one of the most experienced real estate researchers in Southern California, with more than 17 years in the business and a reputation for being one of the most informed and helpful sources for news reporters seeking real estate statistics. Time and again, she has tutored neophyte reporters in the terminology and jargon of commercial real estate, patiently explaining terms like triple-net, the meaning of vacancy rates and absorption figures and other terms that mystify newcomers to the industry.

Bob Osbrink, executive vice president of transaction services for the Western Region of Grubb & Ellis, says the promotions of Sullivan, who joined the firm in 1987, and Yasukochi recognize the importance of research for the firm and its clients.
