Colleran has run his own real estate investment banking consulting firm in Los Angeles since 2000. He had spent the previous 12 years overseeing real estate acquisitions, sales, finance and operations for Miller, Klutznick, Davis and Gray and the Davis Cos. That followed a 14-year career with KPMG, whose clients included Miller, Klutznick, Davis and Gray.
Search firm Ferguson Partners Ltd. was hired by Trizec Properties to help find Hanson's replacement. "[Colleran] brings a wealth of relevant experience and expertise to Trizec, particularly in the areas of tax and accounting," says CEO Timothy Callahan.
In an unrelated move on the other side of the Loop, Jones Lang LaSalle has plucked Gary B. Kostecki from Cushman & Wakefield to become VP of leasing and management. Kostecki oversaw marketing and leasing of the NBC Tower as well as Oak Brook Regency Towers in Oak Brook and the Meadows Corporate Center in Rolling Meadows.
