Michael Hoffman, regional manager for Marcus & Millichap, tells GlobeSt.com that the near-term plan is to add another 15 investment brokers to the team of 26 while bringing on another seven for the 10-member support staff. To ensure there is ample space, the team just relocated its Galleria office from 5,500 sf at 1300 Post Oak Blvd. to 8,200 sf at 777 Post Oak Blvd., signing an eight-year lease for more space and a better office configuration.
Hoffman took over the top slot a year ago. He says "the dynamics and size of the Houston market provide a substantial opportunity" for Marcus & Millichap to match owners and investors to the available inventory.
