The building's upgrade will focus on the lobby area, according to Eastman Management president Peter Schofel. The project will involve new cosmetics and new lighting, although further details were not released.
Simultaneously, Schofel has announced several lease renewals in the two buildings, with recent activity totaling some 26,000 sf. Bill Kanter, director of leasing for Eastman Management, repped the ownership in all four of the signings.
In the largest signing, the law firm of Genova, Burns and Vernoia renewed its existing lease and expanded to 11,000 sf, according to Schofel. Also, New Jersey Life and Casualty renewed and relocated its office to a total of 6,000 sf in Plaza I. Bryn Cinque of GVA Williams of New Jersey, Parsippany, represented the tenant in the latter signing.
Finally, the accounting firm of Rayfield & Licata, repped by Paul Steinbock & Associates, renewed its lease for 5,400 sf. And accounting firm Limsky & Loren Kypriotis re-upped for 2,400 sf.
