Insituform Technologies Inc. is in the process of moving into a 10,800-sf warehouse at 13001 Elaine Rd. in the far southwest quadrant. The firm, which has multiple locations around town, signed a medium-term lease for the property with its former user and current owner, Texoma Contracting LLC, Chris Kugle in the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. Texoma decided the building on 3.4 acres, with a concrete-surface yard, was surplus real estate and subsequently put it up for lease.
Kugle says the yard area was the main attraction for Insituform, a Chesterfield, MO-based provider of technologies and services for rehabilitating sewer, water and underground piping systems. Justin Tunnell and Eric Hughes, both in the Houston office of National Realty Group, represented the tenant in the lease.
In West Houston, Echo Medical Systems leased 2,420 sf at 16203 Park Row. Andrew W. Sowell and David Boyd of Houston-based Boyd Page Commercial Real Estate Services bundled the deal for the tenant and the building owner, Techniplex Business Center LLC.
